We are looking for guys new enough to the hobby that they haven’t “done it all” already. We are willing to teach the necessary skills “from the ground-up”. You must be willing to read, practice and work on your own too. A full federal kit costs around $1,500 to $2,000 however we have some loaner gear and do not expect you to buy this all at once.

What you can expect from us:

We enjoy history and enjoy each others company (“kameradeschaft”)
We all portray infantry privates.
Our decisions are made according to majority vote.
We have only one corporal position which we rotate every two events.
The corporal coordinates our participation for his two events, then leads us during those two events.
We’re not looking for a total commitment - but are looking for some commitment

What we expect from you:

Must be safe and must be reliable
You’ll be asked to serve as corporal when the position rotates to you
You’ll be asked to occasionally to prepare and present an informal class to the unit
Or occasionally to make some “prop” that will contribute to our events.
Must attain a respectable level of authenticity in your appearance and kit
You’ll need to be willing to fix or get rid of items that don’t meet standards
You’ll need to learn the drill and keep your kit in good condition
Prospective members will be voted-on after their second event
$20 one-time dues are due at that time to cover postage, etc.
